Hannah Donart began her professional training at The Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance under the directorship of Larry Long. At age 17 she received her first AGMA contract, performing The Chicago Tribune Charities The Nutcracker at McCormick place. She went on to perform with such companies as Pennsylvania Ballet, Ballet Chicago, The Chicago Ballet, and Omaha Theater Company Ballet. She has performed in the corps, as demi-soloist, and soloist in such ballets as Serenade, Gisselle, Copelia, Tarantella, Symphony in C, Concerto Barroco, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Cinderella. After retiring, Hannah attended the University of California at Berkeley, where she received her B.A. in International Development Studies. She has taught ballet for ten years to all ages and levels and is currently on MYB faculty in the Early Dance and Introductory Divisions.
