All children 8 years or older must be seen by MYB faculty before being matriculated into the program.

Children age 8-9 will not have to do a formal audition but will be screened. This process takes around 15 minutes.

To ensure proper class placement, all prospective students 9 years and older are required to take an audition class. The MYB is competitive and enrollment in succeeding terms depends on technical placement qualification, appropriate physical development, and space availability. The fee to audition is $18.
