EDD Policies


Students should always arrive and leave MYB with their leotard and tights covered-up with a skirt, pants, jacket, etc. Ballet slippers must not be worn outside; they are not street shoes.

Dance With Me (Girls and Boys): Loose comfortable clothing, socks or bare feet.  Long hair must be secured.  No jewelry.

Little Dancer (Girls): Solid color leotard (no attached skirt), pink tights, pink ballet shoes.  Long hair must be secured.  No jewelry.

Creative Movement (Girls): Capezio leotard #TB134C or Eurotard leotard #44265c – color Purple, pink tights (Capezio 1915C – color Ballet Pink), pink ballet shoes. Long hair must be secured. No jewelry.

Boys: White T-shirt, black tights/leggings, white socks, white shoes.



Tuition for each 8-class session is $170 and a one-time annual registration fee of $25 is added to your first enrollment for the school year. A minimum deposit of $83 is required for each desired session. For students only registering for one (1) session, the full $83 is non-refundable. If registering for two (2) or more sessions, the $25 registration fee plus $70 per session is non-refundable.

Tuition is payable in full at the time of registration with a check, credit card, or eCheck. If not paid in full at registration, automatic installment payments must be set-up with eChecks or with a credit/debit card. Installment payments cannot be canceled; however, payments can be made in person with cash prior to the scheduled due date. If your balance due is more than 10 days late, you risk your child being automatically withdrawn from the enrolled session(s).



You are responsible for the full tuition for the session(s) for which you register your child, unless withdrawn 48 hours prior to the start of the enrolled session(s). Withdrawals must be made through email or in writing in order to be processed. Please note: Refunds for any money paid above the non-refundable deposit(s) and fees (including Registration Fee, late fees and returned check fees) will only be issued if proper withdraw procedures are followed. For students only registering for one session, the full $83 is non-refundable. If registering for two (2) or more sessions, the $25 registration fee plus $70 per session is non-refundable.

After the start of your child’s classes, you are responsible for the entire tuition balance whether or not your child continues to attend MYB during any remaining portion of his/her enrollment.



We truly expect your child to attend each and every scheduled class. Because we limit the number of children in a class we are hopeful that everyone will honor their commitment and complete the entire session. We ask that you call if you are going to be late or absent.



Lessons that are missed due to illness can be made up at a later date in another class of the same or lower level. Students in the Early Dance Division are allowed a maximum of two make-up classes per session and must be taken in the same session (no carryovers).  Please call the office to schedule all make-up classes.



In the event of inclement weather, parents and students are responsible for checking for changes to the MYB schedule which will be posted on our office voice mail, our website, on our Facebook page, and on Twitter, at 7:00 am.

If the Federal government closes, MYB will also close.



We have several students with life-threatening allergies. Please do not bring any peanut products to the studios.



Please use only the designated dressing room for your child’s class. Fathers may not enter the children’s dressing rooms or the area outside the dressing room. This is a privacy policy put in place by MYB. If possible, please try to have your child dressed for class with a cover-up, before arriving at the studio.



MYB does not permit taking photos or videotaping thru the doorways during class time.  Early Dance classes have the opportunity to take photos during the last class, Visitation Day.
