Get your tickets now for MYB’s annual SPRING CONCERT this weekend, May 10-11, at Montgomery College’s Parilla Peforming Arts Center Rockville campus. Bring a friend to see Hortensia Fonseca's Little Mermaid (based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale), Concerto - a new ballet by Christopher Doyle, and Cakewalk - Eric Hampton's fabulously entertaining creation for MYB. All MYB students in Ballet I and up who are not performing in the program will receive one (1) complimentary ticket. Please sign up at the front desk. Tickets will be available for pick up this week. Spring Concert volunteers

are needed to work front of house and backstage for our Mother’s Day weekend performances. Please RSVP to Vicky Chang at vhc313@gmail.com to help front of house, or Judy Hansen at j_k_hansen@hotmail.com. Performances are Saturday, May 10 at 1pm and 7pm, and Sunday, May 11 at 1pm

MYB pianists release their debut jazz album, With a Song in My Heart

Support your favorite pianists Levon and Arshak by purchasing the greatly anticipated CD from Double Sharp (their jazz band which includes Levon’s lovely wife, Nune, on vocals) from the office. CDs are $20 each and 25% of the proceeds will go towards the cost of our newly acquired grand piano in Studio A.

Mrs. Cox's Ballet I, II, and III Classes

All students should have received their year-end Demonstration packets last week. If not, please inform Ms. Cox. The Demonstration dates and times are also posted on the bulletin boards outside of studio D. Be sure to note that your child is required to arrive early to get into costume.

Summer Classes are currently enrolling

and some classes are nearly full. Remember that two weeks of regular technique classes are included in the annual tuition for Beginners through Intermediate Pointe (NOT Ballet I, II or III). Students enrolling in the all-day Summer Festival get an equivalent discount on the 5-week tuition.

MYB’s new class for 2 year olds

will be introduced this summer. Dance With Me will meet once a week on Thursdays at 12:00pm from June 30-August 2. This class is for 2 year olds together with a parent or guardian.

Artistic Dance Fashion’s Annual Pink & Black Sale

will take place from Saturday, May 10 to Saturday, May 17. Everything pink, black, peach and tan is 25% off.
